Do you have foot pain effecting your lifestyle?
Do you believe your foot pain may be effecting your back or hip?
Your body’s mechanics may be compensating for joint movements. Our specialists are experts in providing a comprehensive biomechanics assessment in identifying these issues.
By use of gentle joint mobilisation and muscle energy myofascial techniques, our experienced podiatrists can give immediate pain relief to a range of lower limb issues. If needed, we can use functional orthoses to generate long term pain free activity.
After Anill achieved his 1st class degree at the highly reputable Northampton University, he was appointed as a Podiatrist within Bedfordshire’s NHS services. Since then, he has honed his skills and has gained extensive clinical experience working within specialist areas in the NHS and private practise, having achieved fantastic results in pain management and treatment outcomes for patients.
Anill has lectured at an undergraduate level, having taught at the Birmingham School of Podiatric Medicine. He was able to apply his experienced clinical knowledge and expertise in training the future podiatrists, with particular focus on biomechanics and musculoskeletal modules.
In order to work to the high standards that he would want his own treatment provided to, Anill is committed to ongoing training to keep abreast of new treatment modalities and research. To this end, he has completed a huge amount of postgraduate education in clinical biomechanics, lower limb acupuncture and injection therapy courses.
He has trained extensively with Mr Paul Swiercz in advanced mobilisation and muscle energy techniques.
When Anill isn’t at work, or attending continued professional development courses, he’s kept busy with his young family and enjoys keeping fit, playing football and traveling.
Philosophy:
My goal with rehabilitative work is always to decrease pain and increase mobility, but in
addition to that, I believe in helping facilitate the body to fix itself. During mobilization sessions,
I combine a wide variety of muscle and joint manipulations with focused stretching techniques
to produce effective results. With a background in Sports Massage and chronic pain
management, I am used to dealing with the long term issues that prevent you from feeling your best. Being a facilitator of good health and well-being for everyone as well as knowing that I
am directly involved in people’s happiness, is what keeps me passionate about my work.
Having recently moved to the UK in May of 2022, I am finding such warmth and kindness from
the people here. When I am not out exploring England, I am an avid hiker, occasional artist, and adventure seeker. Weight training and yoga are also things that enrich my life.
Education:
In the United States, I graduated from the National Holistic Institute as a Massage Therapist
and Health Educator in Studio City, California back in 2014. The school provided over 900-
hours of education which covered 12 different modalities of massage and body manipulation. It
is commonly referred to as one of the top schools in the nation.
Experience:
Some of my specialties include:
• Myofascial Therapy
• Trigger Point Therapy
• Deep Tissue Massage
• Sports Massage
• Accupressure
• Chronic Pain Management
• Full Body Stretches
• Postural Assessment
• Joint Manipulation
